Senior Members in our Youth Clubs are young people who have demonstrated additional maturity and ability to take on extra responsibilities. The specifics of this depend on the young person and placement. These Senior Members often support Youth Work staff to deliver activities and help co-design events.

Responsibilities
- Contribute towards planning and evaluating youth work activities
- Participate in the decision making processes relating to the management of the Club
- Supporting other young people to get involved and share their thoughts
- Work as part of the wider youth work team
- Act as a positive role model for younger members
- Take on a position of trust and responsibility and being accountable for actions
- Aware of and understanding how to raise any safeguarding concerns
- Select, recruit and interview prospective staff members
