Panel Grantiau Sir Gár Grant Panel is a project for young people aged 14 – 25 years run by Carmarthenshire Youth Support Service and Carmarthenshire Association for Voluntary Services (CAVS)

Young people on the Youth Grant Panel will be responsible for distributing money (grants of up to £5000) to organisations that support a range of volunteering projects and activities, led and carried out by young people.

You're the Decision-Maker: As a panel member, you'll be part of a team that looks at applications from other young people who need funding (money) for their projects.

Training and Support: You won't be on your own! You'll have training to help you understand the grant panel, how the grant-making process works how to assess applications, and what to look for in a good project.

Meeting Up: We will meet regularly (once a month) to get to know each other and discuss the applications and make decisions together.

Joining the Youth Grant Panel is an exciting opportunity to be a real decision-maker and shape projects that benefit young people across Carmarthenshire.
